I occasionally take pictures with my flip phone. They’re all posted here, unedited and unfiltered, in reverse chronological order. This is exceptionally slow social media, just the way I like it.

Last update: June 26, 2019

you Life’s tough, folks.

you Remember John Candy in Home Alone? What it is about people from Cheboygan always coming to the rescue?

you From this angle, I could kinda breathe again. But while I waited two hours for a tow truck, it continues to make a highly unnerving creaking sound. Anyway - we survived.

you PLEASE DON’T TIP.

you Uh oh.

you Agreed.

you Moon on a lake.

you Vibe.

you View.

you Mackinac City.

you A family taking photos.

you I happened to be walking by this church on a Sunday at 10:00 AM. The pastor’s name seemed like a sign, so - yeah - I went to church. Free snacks, clean toilets, and a paritioner slipped me a twenty. Somewhat bizarre way to spend Father’s Day. (PS RIP DFW)

you Interior shadow selfie. Stickers on my calendar. I’m free and I do what I want.

you Nice.

you Poking around in the library.

you Couscous shakshuka kinda thing. Delightful.

you True.

you Ramen with mushrooms and iceberg.

you Selfie with bigfoot. Look, no hair.

you I took a picture of a headless dog mailbox because I wanted to remember the positive pregnancy test that was littered on the ground nearby. Sometimes a casual afternoon walk can be totally surreal. I have some short stories to write.

you Healthy(ish) screen time. This girl has been making badass art for hours, entirely offline.

you My nerves were frayed for days after this. I nearly started a full-on forest fire. Note to self: Don’t start a campfire amongst lots of dry brush and then go for a walk and poop. No matter how bad you gotta poop. I’m so lucky that this didn’t reach the dead trees just a few feet away. And that I was wearing my boots so I could stomp it all out. Yikes.

you Sputnik bathroom selfie before the shearing.

you This lunch is called “I ate that cinnamon bun for breakfast.”

you A Sunday paper and a cinnamon bun the size of my head.

you One pixel Sputnik.

you More progress.

you $1.00 triple chocolate fudge mini bundt cake from Walmart.

you Pinckney library has strong wifi.

you Been there done that.

you Memorial Day weekend was chill.

you Nice lawn. I’ll hang here for a bit.

you Is it necessary to remind you that the flip phone doesn’t quite capture the majesty of a perfect sunset?

you This is where I ate a pizza boat for $2.50.

youA nice golden hour.

youRiverfront.

youAgreed!

youDefiance Public Library, watching logs float down the river.

youThen it blinked and said “20 mins per day.” Check!
